CHRISTMAS RUNDOWN

I'm back after a five-week all-singing-all-dancing (the small cousins) trip to England. It was terrific. Jet-lag has lifted, bags are unpacked, storage facilities have been found for the large suitcases of shittymccluttercrap we brought back, and I have at long last downloaded the many, many photos from our holiday.

Here are my four favourite Christmas crafts of the season.

1. ADVENT BRANCH
Left behind for my husband who had to stay in Sydney and work. Twenty-five envelopes and parcels with daily gifts and activity ideas from me and the boys.

2. LAMINATED FUNNY-FACE TREE DECORATIONS
Easy to make and good fun to give. I thought we could make it an annual gift; each year the new ones go up in place of the old. Or you could put them all up and your tree could contain nothing but our faces. Now wouldn't that be nice.

3. WOODLAND/BOTANICAL CHRISTMAS CRACKERS
These turned out beautifully, but seriously the time it took??!! One hundred percent not worth it. It pains me to say that but sadly it's true. The fun we had making them though...priceless.

4. FAMILY FACE MASH-UP
Life size family-face-photos, laminated + dry erase markers a-plenty = much amusement.
